          OAU management announces temporary shutdown of university e- Portal from Monday 24th of November to 5th of December, 2025.
     Freshers will have their portal updated to 2025/26 Academic Session. Also, the course curriculum change will be effective after the update e.g SER 001 to GST 111, SSC 105 to DSS 103.

          Obafemi Awolowo University has approved the establishment and building project of a new Faculty of Architecture, marking a historic milestone in the university's drive towards academic expansion and infrastructural excellence.
        The project, estimated 15 billion was formally approved by Professor Adebayo Bamire, the vice chancellor on November 6, 2025. The new Faculty will comprise five departments; architecture and design, interior design, landscape architecture, Urban design and furniture, and product design.

He stated, ‘Generally, I cannot say the money is much, but for me it is high. For those not born with a silver spoon like us, it’s high.

       University Advancement Office Hosts Event on Pathway to Sustainable Advancement;
This workshop, titled Improving Student Experience: Pathway for Sustainable University Advancement, is strategically designed to ensure this culture of support begins right from the time students are on campus,’ he said
