       One of the biggest parties of the session organized by markay happened on the 14th November , many OAU student attended . It was considered a success even after the news that they couldn’t use amphitheater due to construction issues . Artist such as Samad , Joblaq, kodee and others . 
   
  Akande Oyinkansola Josephine, an OAU student, won the first prize and N1 million in the Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board (NCDMB) Oil & Gas Essay Contest, announced on November 15, 2025.The Faculty of Arts was scheduled to host 'Dapo Olorunyomi as a guest lecturer on November 12, 2025.A special lecture, distinguished personality award, and a working visit to the OAU ICT-DRIVEN KNOWLEDGE PARK occurred on November 10, 2025.
     
    Notices have been released to newly admitted students regarding the NELFUND Student Loan application process.The university also announced plans for a "transformative workshop" called ISE 3.0 for students, staff, and alumni, scheduled for November 19-20, 2025.The university, along with the University of Lagos (UNILAG), is facing a court interim order related to alleged irregularities in the 2025/2026 Post-UTME admissions process. OAU's management maintains they have not been formally served any court papers.
    
   The university administration has issued notices regarding the gate access protocols and specific charges for graduands in preparation for the 49th Convocation, scheduled to run from Thursday, December 11, to Saturday, December 13, 2025.
