UN chief calls for resumed funding of Palestinian aid agency after allegations of militant ties
The Secretary-general of the United Nations Antonio Guterres called on country's to resume funding the main agency (United Nations Relief and Works Agency, UNRWA) providing aid in Gaza strip after a dozen of it's employees were accused of taking part in the Hamas attack on Israel that ignited the war four months ago.

China's military pressure on Taiwan
Taiwan's defence ministry says China sent more than 30 warplanes and a group of navy ships towards the island in a 24hour period. 
China claims self-ruled Taiwan as it's territory and expresses it's displeasure at political activities in Taiwan by sending military planes and ships.

Mayan ruin sites in Mexico are unreachable because of gang violence 
Mexico is acknowledging that at least two well-known Mayan ruin sites are unreasonable to visit because of land dispute and cartel violence.
