→ The US officially withdraws from the World Health Organisation(WHO)
President Donald Trump signed an executive order signalling the withdrawal a year ago, and criticising the organisation for being too“China-centric”, and a few days ago, the withdrawal was made official, leaving WHO without one of its biggest donors.

→ US Donald Trump refuses to back down on Greenland.
President Trump made it clear that he wasn’t going to back down on his attempt to acquire Greenland. He recalled the place US took in World War II as it “saved Greenland and successfully prevented our enemies from gaining a foothold on our hemisphere".

→ Andy Burnham has been banned from contesting in an upcoming parliamentary by-election on Gorton and Denton by Labour’s ruling body in order to save public funds and focus resources on addressing the cost-of-living crisis.

→ Federal immigration officers shot and killed a man, 37-year-old Alexi Perti, the second person to be fatally shot in the city during the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement crackdown this month.
