Arsenal was founded in 1886 in Woolwich, London by a group of workers at the Royal Arsenal Armaments Factory. The club was originally named Dial Square,later changed to Royal Arsenal,then Woolwich Arsenal in 1893, finally to Arsenal in 1913.
