INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS GOES THROUGH ACCREDITATION
It is that time again when international relations as a course and department goes through accreditation. This is a process in which international relations is officially recognised and certified as meeting specific standards of quality and rigor by the authorized accrediting body.
INTRODUCING OUR DEPARTMENT LIBRARY
It is with pleasure that I announce the completion of our departmental library, a dedicated space designed to support learning, research and collaboration within our academic community.
STUDENT FORUM
The meeting kickstarted with the introduction of part 1 students, executives, Student Representative Council and Diplomatic Suite News Agency.
The SRC election for part 1 took place after the introduction with six contestants from part 1 constituency namely 
Adeyinbo Ifeoluwa Mary who won with a total of 33 votes
Akinbode David Gbenga with a total of 34 votes
Adesanya Blessing Grace with a total of 20 votes
Ademuyiwa Rachel Temilade with a total of 32 votes
Adeolu Inioluwa Sharon with a total of 18 votes
Bendel Precious Okomenon(in absentia) with a total of 3 votes.
We wish the newly elected a hearty congratulations.
STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL MEETING
The newly elected SRC members were sworn in and a chief whip for the part 1 constituency was voted in. A hearty congratulations to Honourable David, the chief whip from part 1 constituency. 
The Public Relations officer was sworn into office.
The meeting kickstarted with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting by the Honourable clerk.
During the meeting, Adetola from the part 2 constituency, Bliss from the part 2 constituency, Priscilla from the part 2 constituency, Ayomikun from the part 3 constituency, Ishaa from part 3 constituency were ratified into the welfare committee.
Ayodabo Marvellous from part 3 constituency, Oladele Deborah from part 3 constituency, Ajayi Ayanfe from part 2 constituency, Olusola Praise from part 2 constituency were ratified into the social committee.
The House ratified in Samuel John from part 3 constituency, Pelumi from part 4 constituency, Odebiyi Christianah from part 4 constituency, and Sorungbe Olalonpe from part 2 constituency into the Academic committee.
The Public Relations Committee was also ratified into the House.

With this recent achievements and upcoming initiatives, the department is well-positioned for continued success. We look forward to collaborating with our community to achieve even greater milestones.
