In an event graced by once Great-Ife, Adejumo Kabir of HumAngle, Ismael Taiwo of Oduduwa News and others, The Association of Campus Journalists, Obafemi Awolowo University Chapter inducts 31 members into it's fold.

The event, which was postponed to this semester due to Covid regulations witnessed the induction of prospective Campus Journalists from every corner of the Obafemi Awolowo Universitiy Community.

Mr Adejumo Kabir lecturing inductees at the event

Inductions are events to intimate Pressmen of the ethics of journalism and standard practises in the profession and that was exactly what Mr Adejumo Kabir did. On taking the mic, he did justice to the topic at hand and once more charged prospective Journalists to take everyone accountable for their actions so as to bring about a saner community.
He quoted George Orwell saying 'Journalism is printing what someone else does not want published; everything else is public relations.'

Guest lecturer, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu, State Chairman of NUJ ably represented by Comrade Bukola Elufadejin, Secretary, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council also lectured those around on the challenges Media face in the discharge of their duties and subsequently answered
salient questions asked by Journalists present.

Digital Media Practitioner, Mr. Ismael Taiwo of Oduduwa News took his time to admonish Journalists present after which a video of Mr Olukorede Yishau's message to inductees was played.

The event ended in pomp as new inductees were issued certificates and a Photo session ensued.
