MEASLES OUTBREAK KILLS AT LEAST 42 PEOPLE IN NORTH-EAST NIGERIA.
At least 42 people have died from an outbreak of measles in the nort-eastern state of Adamawa, the states' health commissioner says.

NDLEA ARRESTS FIVE MEMBERS OF INTERNATIONAL DRUG SYNDICATE 
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has dismantled a drug syndicate operating in Nigeria, South Africa and Tanzania.
Five members of the cartel were arrested and illicit drugs were seized.

SERAP SUES WIKE, SANI AND OTHERS OVER "FAILURE TO ACCOUNT FOR LOANS".
Socio-economic Rights and Accountability Projects (SERAP) has filed a lawsuit against Nigeria's governors and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory,Abuja, Mr. Nyesom Wike over " failure to account for #5.6 trillion and 4.6 billion dollars obtained by their states and the F.C.T. and to publish copies of the loan agreements, including details and projcts executed with the loans.

YEMI ALALDE KICKS AGAINST HOUSE DEMOLITION IN LAGOS.
Singer Yemi Alade has spoken out against the Lagos government over the recent demolition of houses in Maryland.
Expressing her dismay, the "Johnny" crooner criticized the government actions, stating that they are exacerbating the plight if citizens by rendering them homeless overnight.

JAMB RELEASES UTME RESULT, CITIZENS IN TEARS OVER MASS FAILURE.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) earlier released it's 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) showing that barely a quarter of candidates scored above 200.

NECO DIGITALISES RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR EXAMINATION SUPERVISORS.
National Examination Council (NECO) has taken bold steps towards checking sharp malpractices in the recruitment process for the Examination Supervisors and the Assistant Supervisors. To this end, the council has digitalised the process of it's recruitment.
